Power 30 2025/26 - Flipbook - Page 3
What a year
& what next?
Welcome to the results of the UK’s second
Power 30 Most Sustainable Agencies!
So, what’s new?
On one hand, nothing has changed. Agencies
still fulfil an essential role in driving creativity
and expertise in event planning and delivery.
Brands and corporates continue to demand
a responsible and sustainable approach, and
sustainability remains a key attribute associated
with events – one that agencies are expected to
deliver as standard.
On the other hand, almost everything
has changed.
Global political shifts, evolving EU regulation,
rising inflation, cost-pressures on supply chain,
and even the support available to agencies
in the UK within the sustainability space. The
context in which agencies are operating today is
markedly different from a year ago.
So where does sustainability fit now – and
what comes next? These are questions we are
asked regularly. Through our work with more
than 150 agencies globally, we have a clear
view.
Agencies sit in a uniquely influential position
within the sector – as aggregators of clients,
knowledge, planning expertise, operational
capability and innovation. Your efforts matter,
hugely.
Every single trend report, industry innovation
review, and analysis published over the last
year has featured sustainability. Almost every
RFP does too. Clients increasingly expect
sustainable and responsible event delivery
as a given — and for agencies to be able to
demonstrate it.
On top of this, measuring carbon alone is no
longer sufficient. A responsible event approach
must now reflect all three pillars of ESG,
particularly the social value that events are
uniquely positioned to deliver.
As the sector has evolved, so have the tools.
Sustainability measurement and reporting
solutions are now as – if not more effective –
than any event ROI gizmo. And unashamedly,
this feels like the right moment to mention
Impact: Responsible Event Reviews, a tool
developed by event:decision to benchmark ESG
efforts event-by-event and at an organisational
level. Now with the addition of SaVY, planners
can also quantify the social value their events
deliver — a first for the sector.
Ultimately, benchmarking initiatives like the
Power 30 Most Sustainable Agencies are about
more than recognition. They enhance individual
agency performance while contributing to the
broader goal of creating a more sustainable
event sector. By encouraging collaboration and
knowledge-sharing, this campaign empowers
agencies to navigate the complexities of
sustainability while adapting to the ever-evolving
events landscape.
If you’re recognised in this year’s Power 30,
congratulations – well done! The expertise
within these pages deserves celebration. And
if you’re a corporate event buyer – use these
agencies, they’ll deliver you a great job!
