ustainability, impact, and economic progress are deeply embedded in the
fabric of Amex GBT. As a participant of the UN Global Compact, Amex
GBT aligns operations with its Ten Principles in the areas of human rights,
labour, environment, and anti-corruption.
The company’s ambitious science-based targets were validated by SBTi
and it has committed to reaching net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
across its value chain by 2050. EcoVadis awarded Amex GBT its Platinum
rating for the third year running, keeping it in the top 1% of all companies
assessed worldwide.
In 2022, Amex GBT signed the World Economic Forum Clean Skies for
Tomorrow ambition statement, which supports the supply and use of SAF
technologies to reach 10% of global jet aviation fuel supply by 2030. It is
also a key active stakeholder in the Net Zero Carbon Events initiative, helping
construct a roadmap, frameworks, and tools to drive the events industry
towards net zero.
