ising costs continue to challenge event
planners, with budgets struggling to keep
pace with client expectations. According to
Global DMC Partners’ (GDP) latest Q3 2025
Meetings & Events Pulse Survey, almost
half of planners (49%) are now considering
second- and third-tier destinations to
stretch spend without sacri昀椀cing quality.
At its annual Connection event, GDP spotlighted
a range of destinations that deliver luxury
experiences, strong infrastructure, and standout
activities, while offering significant cost savings to
established first-tier cities and tourism hotspots.
