La Dolce Vita Orient Express
La Dolce Vita Orient Express, the first Italian made luxury train, made its much-anticipated debut in April 2025,
more than 140 years after the first luxury Orient Express trains began their legendary journey across Europe.
With 31 cabins, 18 suites, 12 deluxe cabins and the signature La Dolce Vita Suite, the train is the result of a
meticulous restoration and design process, while the interiors, by Milan’s Dimorestudio embody the spirit of
mid-century glamour, an homage to La Dolce Vita and the cultural pulse of 1960s Italy.
La Dolce Vita Orient Express offers eight curated itineraries blending art, landscapes, and three-star Michelin
cuisine by Heinz Beck.
Sample itinerary: Venice & Tuscany
This journey departs from Rome Ostiense in the morning, taking guests on a journey through stunning Italian
landscapes while enjoying a three-Michelin-starred lunch, before an evening in Venice to explore the city’s historic
charm or opt for a curated experience.
The second day begins in Siena, surrounded by stunning medieval architecture, where guests can immerse
themselves in the essence of Tuscan culture through optional curated experiences, followed by another lavish dinner.
The experience concludes with a final breakfast as the Orient Express glides back into Rome, the memories of
rail-borne dolce vita still lingering.
