The Britannic Explorer, A Belmond Train
Making its debut in July 2025, the Belmond Britannic Explorer is the first luxury
sleeper train in England and Wales.
The train features 18 stylish cabins accommodating up to 36 guests, including three
Grand Suites and an onboard spa, with colour palettes including greens and blues
inspired by the British landscape.
Onboard, passengers can indulge in a world-class dining experience with menus
created by Simon Rogan, a Michelin-starred chef and pioneer of sustainable British
gastronomy, to showcase the richness of Britain’s diverse regions.
The Britannic Explorer departs from London, offering three-night journeys with a choice of three
routes through the spectacular natural landscapes of Cornwall, The Lake District, and Wales.

Celebrating the best of Wales, this experience begins with a thoughtfully
curated afternoon tea as guests embark on a voyage into the heart
of Cymru. Day two begins on the breathtaking Pembrokeshire
coastline stopping at Llandrindod Wells, where guests can embark
on a guided hike through the tranquil valleys or enjoy a visit to a
spectacular Welsh lavender farm.
The journey continues through the rural uplands of
Carmarthenshire and Powys, into the dramatic landscapes
Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) for more outdoor activities,
before heading back through the picturesque landscapes of
the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire and the enchanting Chilterns.
