THE STARS OF 2025
The Chancery Rosewood
Rosewood Amsterdam
It may have only just opened its doors on 1 September,
but The Chancery Rosewood is already poised to become
one of London’s most prestigious addresses for events.
Situated within the historic former American Embassy
on Grosvenor Square in the heart of Mayfair, the Grade II
listed building houses 144 suites and has been sensitively
redeveloped to balance heritage with contemporary
design. Food and beverage highlights include the first
European outpost of New York’s Carbone, a new Asian
concept, and the rooftop Eagle Bar, ideal for stylish
receptions. There’s also state-of-the-art ballroom with
capacity for up to 750.
Another newbie from the Rosewood brand, Rosewood
Amsterdam has created a buzz since it opened in May –
earning itself the top spot in Robb Report’s 50 Greatest
Luxury Hotels 2025 list. Housed in the former Palace of
Justice, it’s the last new hotel development permitted within
a monumental building in Amsterdam. Situated on the
UNESCO World Heritage listed canals, the property features
134 ultra-luxe rooms and suites, an Asaya Spa and signature
restaurant, Eeuwen. The Grand Library, once a historic
courtroom, has evolved into a hub for intimate gatherings,
while the Ballroom can cater for larger groups.
