Waldorf Astoria Admiralty Arch
The Harriman, Idaho
The highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria Admiralty Arch is
finally expected to open in 2026. The building, originally
commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of
Queen Victoria, stands at the end of The Mall opposite
Buckingham Palace, offering unparalleled views of the
Palace in one direction and across Nelson’s Column and
Trafalgar Square in the other. It will feature approximately
100 rooms and suites, restaurants and bars by renowned
chefs Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud, a spa, a 20-metre
pool, a rooftop terrace with views of Buckingham Palace
and a ballroom for up to 320 guests.
Slated to open in June 2026, The Harriman brings
Viceroy’s signature blend of design and alpine soul to
downtown Ketchum, Idaho, gateway to the legendary
Sun Valley. With 73 guest rooms and 12 single-level
penthouse residences, all commanding sweeping
views of Idaho’s Rocky Mountains, the resort
will feature a spa with indoor thermal pool, cold
plunge, sauna and steam rooms. Dining and social
life revolve around a full-service restaurant, zincclad bar, café and ski concierge, and a rooftop
observatory and terrace bar offer unobstructed views
of the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve.
Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, Vietnam
The Park Hyatt in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, is scheduled to
open in early 2026, spanning 160 acres of land in front
of a pristine white sand beach. Phu Quoc is Vietnam’s
largest island and a designated UNESCO site, providing
the perfect backdrop for memorable meetings and
incentives. The luxury resort will include 100 rooms and 65
private residences. Two swimming pools, two restaurants,
400 sqm of event space and a lakeside spa will also be
featured on the property, while an on-site organic farm will
supply the food for the guests.
Amanvari, Mexico
Aman is set to unveil its newest coastal resort, Amanvari,
on the untouched East Cape of Baja California, Mexico, in
spring 2026. Resting at the meeting point of three distinct
landscapes - beachfront, desert and estuary – the 18-key
resort is positioned to celebrate its natural setting. The
accommodations, called Casitas, offer views of the Sea of
Cortez and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. Distinctive
dining venues will range from Italian to Japanese,
alongside the vibrant flavours and seasonal bounty of Baja.
The Aman Spa will reflect the brand’s longevity-focused
approach and guests will enjoy unrivalled access to
snorkelling, diving, hiking and sailing.
Orient Express Palazzo Dona Giovannelli
Opening in April 2026, Orient Express Palazzo Donà
Giovannelli brings new life to a 15th-century Venetian
palace in the Cannaregio district. Originally designed by
Filippo Calendario, architect of the Doge’s Palace, the
building has undergone an eight-year restoration. The
project preserves its Gothic façade and historic salons,
including the Vittoria Ballroom and Music Room. The
hotel will offer 47 rooms and suites, many with views of
canals or the private courtyard garden. Guests can expect
refined Venetian dining with direct boat access, relaxed
all-day options by the garden, and the striking Wagon Bar,
inspired by the golden age of rail travel.
